Wrong bulbs, otter. Silverstar Ultras cost $50 or so. $40 if you get them on sale.

That price is for the regular Silverstars.

ya me & my car had a good run with these hyper yellow

but i got pulled over last night for the first time in a couple months by one of those dodge chargers undercover cops and he wrote me one of those fix-it tickets. if i get these Sylvania SilverStar Ultra bulbs from autozone and put them in, they will pass their little flashlight test at the police station?

they are just called silverstar ultra and need the 9007 size right?

^Silverstars have all those Traffic Safety Commission labels and badges that make me think they're a totally DOT approved bulb. Just look at the packaging next time you stop in somewhere.

i bought mine today and put them in, when i was shining the light in the garage and i clicked on the high beams, the light is actually lower than normal and i don't think it's brighter either. i had this problem with my previous lights is there a bulb missing or some wire not connected or what?
the lights look good, though i miss my hyper-yellow bulbs i will post some pix if anyone wants to see how they look on a lancer

I just picked up a pair of 9007 Ultras for $26 on amazon.com. Every store I have walked into has them for $50!

9005 and 9006 (high and low beams for 2008 model) are $36/set. Much cheaper than Autozone! They don't have H11 for the foglights, though.

That's definitely pretty good, but you now have to buy two sets of bulbs! Although, I can't imagine one would complain after comparing the older OZ with a new GTS. Is the light output different when two sets of bulbs are used as opposed to the single bulb design the ancient lancers have?

I'd say the 2008 is brighter than my 2002 was. But that's just my feeling. I haven't put old/new next to each other to compare.
