Silverstar Ultra high beams???

I just got some silverstar ultra bulbs. Noticed driving home tonight that they don't seem to have high beams. Low beam is very bright and great but when I hit high beam and the high beam light comes on, The lights simply dim right down. Anyonw have experience with these? Do I have defective bulbs?

Sounds like you got single filimant bulbs. What bulb number did you get?

9004 SU/2 is the part number. There are two filements that I can see in the bulb.

Double Check to see if the filimants are actually connected to the connectors on the base of the bulb. If they are not send em back.

aw! I want to buy these, are they very bright? I have a pair of EuroDesignz 9007 bulbs, but they're not that bright... definately take away the stock halogen color and made it an arctic white but not really "bright."

They are nice bulbs...in my experience though...they only last half as long as a regular bulb. I ran PIAA.s in my car and bike, and I think they don't like vibration too much, the bike would eat them like candy....They are a whiter white and def. better than stock.

Maybe I got confused because Cedia's use 9004's as the low beam bulbs?
