great question, i think someone said they will fit, its just that the projectors require different wiring and possibly a different ecu, etc.. would be a very costly swap, i have heard its in the 3k range to do it that way. best bet might be to wait until an aftermarket company makes them

I guess I will have to wait because I want HIDS for the car but I dont like the way it looks without the projector housing

^^ Yea it kinda sucks, but I'm waiting too, hopefully one of the aftermarket companies will get on this ASAP. I would buy them in a heartbeat

I have an '09 Lancer GTS. Does anyone know if the front and rear sway bars are the same size as the '08? I saw the size for the '08 on here and am looking at getting bigger sway bars for my '09. I would like my car to have less body roll. Any help would be appreciated. The '09's are so new that I can't really find much info. on it.

You might want to add that the DE model comes with optional rear disc brakes.

Sorry again if this is around somewhere, and if it is feel free to just point me to that. Thanks for the help too. I had always assumed since I'm not in CA or NJ I had a fed spec, so I never really payed attention to PZEV posts/threads, so I feel like I need to go back for all the basics.

The 2008 PZEV Lancer makes 143HP compared to the Federal 152HP. Torque difference is not that much, rated 146TQ vs. PVEZ 143TQ. The PVEZ does have an extra catalytic converter, and probably could be removed (Not legally!) for a few extra horsepower. I'm sure they will have tuning available via Flash in the next few months that would allow the PZEV to reach the Federal HP level.
