oh, but if you are planning on doing things to the car, unless your just dead set on a lancer, i would get another car. just my .02

 

OZ has the nice black interior....my ES has the ugly blue-grey interior and that black wood grain crap

 

I have an 03 OZ, and prefer that over the 04's es or oz, the rear I personally don't like

 

get the oz rally. it's very simple and it has sporty look. i got mine with two tone leather seat (black and yellow). i'll post some pics this weekend.

go for the oz... its manual and it looks good... i regretted not getting 1... but still.. the lancer es gives you a lot to play with if you like heavy modding...

 

if youre going to be into heavy modding, i would look for something other than a lancer anyway

 

oz has a better head start for you in going for looks

 

The Lancer is a horrible vehicle for modding.

ok so i'm gunna get the 03 Oz any color is fine but i just have to find one around my area in my budget. when i get it i'm prolly going to mod it is it a good car to mod?

 

Yes and no.

What kind of mods? What plans do you have?

Suspension wise, you can make the car a really-nice handling econobox.
Power wise, the only thing worth doing is a turbo kit. Bolt-on mods are nice, but you really aren't going to see much gain from them.
Bling wise, do what you like and it works.

 

its a slow economy car, that should answer your question.
