Park your car in the same location and file a report tomorrow J/K. Contact your insurance agent for information. Maybe they'd cover everything without increasing your rates. Most insurance companies only raise your rates if its your fault.

Sounds pricey! I got qouted $1,500 to replace the same things you said except hood! fender, bumper, support beam inside and I was like, hell no! This can be repaired!!!

I took it home and banged the fender back into place with my dads help. Ordered a new one for 52.00 and all i need is to attempt to repair the bumper with fiber glass and if that fails, i'll get a new one.

For what, $300-400???? Fender bender was my fault. 1000 deductible. So its not worth it for me to call my insurance.

Although the know about the accident, I didnt get a ticket. The cop said it was an accident and he understood it, but I was put at fault.

Sucks but. What can I say. I say call your insurance.

No, you don't "need" a police report. Good luck on the repairs!

i would so go with insurance... if they raise your rates due to a hit and run... then tell that insurance company to screw themselve.

that should be under comprehensive (SP?)
if you have full coverage you have nothing to worry about.
comprehensive damage is those little things you have no controle over and your rates wont go up, like when i hit a javalina in the evo

i dont think your insurance company is gonna take your head off, hell my mother wrapped my 2001 mazda with 250,000km on it around a pole.

Insurance company spent 8000 dollars on repairs 1000 on the rental. Never asked me if I wanted cash, (which I wish they did) but they never touched the premium rates they were charging us, and she was at fault too. that said we have been with them for ever. History matters, if you have no history with this kinda stuff, then dont worry, if you keep getting into them, then you got a problem
