do you think guys think it is possible to get rid of the orange plastic nex to the signal bulb so the whole headlight can look crystal white and black?

are you going for that clear/clean look? i say keep it for now. i was thinking about doing the same thing but i didnt want to mess up my headlights. either get a tint and go ghetto or wait for some ebay rip-off headlights. it doesnt really look that bad from the front if u change the inner blinker to clear bulbs.

it is possible to take it out. the only prob is that the corner lens is 2 peices and glued together. i was bored one day took my dads dremel drill and cut out along the edge of the lens to remove the glue, took the orange cover out and glued it back together. deff a pain in the *** but it looks better to me, then i just painted the lens with yellow window paint to the light shines thru it.

It's illegal, and no, I wouldn't microwave headlights. If you want to do it right, you need to bake them over a pan of water, essentially steam them open. There's a how-to somewhere on this forum. That's assuming the headlights have the type of glue that can be softened when warmed.
