I Just bought a 2009 2.4L Lancer GTS! SO HAPPY!
I just got back from the dealership. Bought an 09 GTS in graphite grey with the Sun/Sound Package and Nav/Tech Package. I went with the 5spd manual too. I think some kind of accessory kit is coming with the car like an alloy fuel door, lancer door sills, and a trunk mat.
Sale price was $22k minus $500 for my educational discount. They are having the car delivered from New York since the dealership wasn't getting in my option/color combination any time soon.
Sucks that it will have 200 miles on it when I get it, but oh well I'll still be so freakin happy when I can actually drive it home next week.
I'm putting 5k down, trading in my Cavalier for 3.5k and then monthly payments will be in the low 300 dollars a month for 48 months at 3.9APR

Knowing mitsu that isn't surprising. It's not a Lexus but anyone paying hard earned money for a brand new car should get a brand new car. I would demand it be trucked in and see what they say.

I got it pretty much at invoice price so I dont really care if they put 200 highways miles on it driving it to me.
21.5k for all the options is a pretty good deal right.....

21.5k is before taxes.... guess i didn't make out as good as I thought I did. Pretty sure thats just about invoice price when you take into account the two major option packages, and the other random accessories I got.
Plus im getting 3.5k for my 04 cavalier coupe that has 50k of hard miles, fraying ground wires, bumper, headlight and rear quarter panel damage, two blown speakers, aftermarket power windows that are loud as shhit, rust spots, brakes that need replaced and minor suspension problems. Some of this they know and some they dont, lol, but will find out sooner or later. I would have taken 1,500 for that car in the shape it was in. So I'm still pretty happy with the deal I got.
I am definitely taking care of this new Lancer though, I'll drive it responsibly and only do very minor tasteful mods, like tint, and a drop in filter. No need to go crazy on the Lancer, it has everything I want! My dad used to say my cavalier looked like it had been driven through pep boys with a magnet, but those days are gone!
