Prewired for Bluetooth (Additional Equipment Required)

What additional equipment? THe only thing I see available for purchase, is the entire kit with the steering wheel controls, which I already have.

Have you tried using it?

Well, the salesman tried to hook it up for us when we took delivery, but said we needed more ****. They also didn't know how or what was needed to do.

And they had the certificates on the wall saying "Lancer Certified".

Someone on the EvoX side (on these boards) added the OEM blue tooth kit to his GSR. I believe he had to take it in to the dealership and have them hook it up to their computers to enable the blue tooth functionality, after the kit was installed.

I traded in my '99 Eclipse on friday for an ES Sport and after being so impressed with it my mom traded her Tuscan in for one too. She convinced the dealer to throw mudflaps on both (my sister also bought and '05) and bluetooth in hers. Then, I convinced her that she would never use it and since she has an auto and I have stick that I should have it. Anyways, I have to take it back tomorrow for sirius installation and the bluetooth so I can let you know...

Thanks. I didn't think the OEM mudflaps were able to be put on with the side skirts?

Lol I guess I'll find out soon. I hope, they didnt say otherwise.

I saw you got blue, thats what I wanted but they only had the GTS in it. My last car was black and after being really unimpressed with the red I went with black again. My Moms is white, she loves it but keeps asking me if I'm mad she got the same car or if she stole my thunder. I'm like, "No we both know this car is awesome".

Ugh sure enough they wouldn't work. They did offer us the wind deflectors because they felt bad. I figured why not, the car is so loud with the sunroof open and the windows just cracked so it can't hurt. I dont know how they will turn out on my moms car being white, but black on black should look alright.

That was on Monday when we got them inspected and was in a rush so waited til the deflectors come in and would get the bluetooth installed then. I'm suppose to go tomorrow.

What did you want me to find out exactly? This was free for me so...

The sticker that was on my window stated "Prewired for Bluetooth (Additional Equipment Required)".

What else do I need.

Oh OK. Well I do know it was in a small box about 4x4. He took it out of his desk so something is physically being installed.
