New Bulb Install on Lancer GTS 09
I just picked up some Sylvania SilverStar Ultra's for my Lancer.
9006 for low beam
9005 for high beam
$108 total
By looking at the housing it looks like two bolts come out and they slide forward and there is 2 power cables going to each housing. Is that correct? Is the install pretty much straight forward?
Thanks!

gawd damn I got three of them in but the high beam on the right side refuses to go in. I had it in but it popped out theres absolutely no room to turn it to the right. The inside of the housing the reflective part is slowly starting to flake because I've been f'in with it for so long. I'm really getting pissed >.>

I got em in!
They look about as close as you can get to HID's without actually getting HID's I think. Really bright white light. They look good!

the install shud have only taken about 2 minutes
you dont need to remove them at all just slide your hand in there
i have huge hands and i got my highs and my city lights done in 5 minutes and the HIDs took another 5 to place the ballast

Speaking of HID's, whats a good HID conversion kit for the 08+ GTS?
I was just going to get Silverstar Ultra's, had em in my LS, but I figure I'll just go all out when the time comes..
Any suggestions?

I will take some pics with my BlackBerry tonight of high and low beams.
@Sofla, I know that you don't remove the housings I just never posted about that. I found the details in the manual. However the spot for the right high beam is extremely tight even with the washer fluid moved back. And I have small hands. The other three went in fairly quick but I worked on that one for a while...

Yeah they are about 50% brighter and white rather then yellow, basically just like the package advertised.
