Okay I pulled out my info from when I had it done. My front side windows are 35% and my back sides and rear are 20%...
Looking in with the sun shining right on the window, it normal is alot darker but I took these about 2:30 in the afternoon so the sun is shining right on the side of the car.
Rear at 20%
and this is from inside basically 35% vs. windshield
Hope that helps! It looks nice, and it really helps with heat in the summer. It was about 109 outside when I took these haha so keeping the heat out is important to me :P

Thanks for the pics. 35% isn't horrible but it almost doesn't seem dark enough to me. It's a tough choice, I'd rather not have to deal with cops checking my tint but I want something dark enough that it's not a waste of money. Anyone have any trouble seeing at night with 25%-35%?

I used to have 30% on my 2004 ES before it was totaled, and i honestly felt like i wasted money on the tinting. I wanted it to be much darker, because basically you see everything, its only a little darker, with a black shade. You can see straight through the car.
Now on my 2003 OZ i have 15%, looks much better. You can still see through it a tiny bit, and it looks great.
I wouldnt really recommend getting different percents on the front and back, unless its a 5% difference. I have never had problems with my tint, i only know one person who has ever had a problem with their tint, and they were pulled over in Florida with 5% tint. Its extremely rare to get pulled over for your tint.

However, I do have to agree, 20% all around does look really nice, and it isn't so dark that officers pull you over for it.
As my sig notes, I have 35% front and 15% rear. I like it and when not in direct sun light it looks good. However, occasionally I find myself wishing I went with 20% on the fronts.

When I was in Oregon I had 35% all around. I always felt it was too light although it was definitely better than nothing at all.
20% is pretty much the perfect tint darkness IMO. But if I was still in OR I would prob stick with 35% just to stay legal. OR cops were way less lenient about tint when I was there.
Now in CA I have 15% all around the rear and 50% up front.

Not what the NHP guys told me when I had mine done. They thought it was too dark but I had the receipt in hand after I had it done and he told me I was good to go and that I couldn't go limo tint but anything lighter than the 5-10% was fine. Glad I got my 20% back and 25% fronts. Found my receipt lying around and double checked it.

hmm well maybe the NHP that pulled me over was in a bad mood, i had 35% in the front and she check it, but i was also going 85 in a 55 on the 95 around the rainbow curve, she nabbed me for speeding, failure to maintain my lane, changing lanes without signal and following to close, lol she pulled me over at D-street lol. this was when they were expanding the 95 to 6 lanes
