Scratch/Chip repair

Hey all,

So I've got a few small chips/scratches on my 09 Graphite Gray Lancer and I wanted to take care of them before they became any more noticeable. I was wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with any chip repair products that are on the market.

I was looking at http://www.automotivetouchup.com because they have the exact color match for my car (A39), along with a primer and clearcoat, but I wasn't sure if anyone has had any experiences with this.

Any tips are appreciated. Thanks!

I just purchased their Spray Paint and touch-up paint. They have a really good color selection. I should receive it this Friday and can tell you more about it.

what kind of solution is the "blending solution" from dr. colorchip"? I have touch up paint, but want to use a "blending solution" to smooth out my chips.

This is what I found on their site, regarding the blending soln.

The excess paint is then removed using our blending solution. The solution is applied to a soft, folded T-shirt rag and lightly rubbed over the excess paint. The paint will begin blending away after a few passes with the cloth. A soft terry cloth or microfiber towel is then used to buff off the residual solution to an amazing shine. This process may be done within 2 minutes to 2 hours after applying the paint. Although the paint is dry to the touch, it will still take about a week to fully cure. However, it may be immediately exposed to water without coming out of the chip

just use some compound and buff it out, usually scratches that aren't deep would come out. Coming from me my whole family owns shops and are collision/engine masters.

---Edit---

Oh and usually chips are a different story, but if you are touching it up just use touch up paint lol
