Well if they agree to replace it under warranty, then that'll be great. if not then I can always buy it off Ebay for less, or directly from the dealership, as I do know the service manager there. I wont be too upset if it comes to that, cause ultimately it was my own screw up that caused this

How was it your fault???? All you were doing was replacing the bulb...it's not like you stuck it in the oven and were prying it apart and it broke. I would be PISSED if they wouldn't replace it. That "bumper-to-bumper" warranty thing has to cover SOMETHING! If it doesn't cover the inside of your headlight breaking when you are changing bulbs then what good is it?

Well they don't need to know I was trying to replace the bulb. And they didnt either, as they didn't ask. They agreed to replace the entire housing itself, went a lot smoother than I was expecting

^^ Told you, they see that stuff and are like "oops must have been a manufacturing defect since it happpened on the inside of the headlight assembly, no problem sir, we will take care of that right away, no charge of course"
