2009 Lancer GTS Fuel Economy
If you drive a 2009 Lancer Gts automatic with paddle shifters this is a question for you.
Wat avg kms you get with a full tank of gas?
With mostly city driving? With mostly highway driving?
My first tank of gas after driving mostly 95 percent city and the first 150 kms my foot was a bit heavy so i was wasting a bit of gas, i should get about 450 - 480kms.... is that avg?
I know they say that its 10.1 L / 100 km in the city , so that should be 580 kms in the city and 7.1 L / 100 km on the highway, so thats 820kms.

09 manual 2.0L i4
i was at around 10 driving city (about 30% of the time in stop and go traffic)
and 9.2 highway
after my injen cold air intake
8.5 city
7.6 highway
w/ RRM pulley 8.2city and 7.3highway
this is w/o spirited driving

hmm, i've always thought intakes contributed to better mileage - more air vacuumed = more efficient combustion, no? unless more air = more fuel required for combustion but i couldve sworn i read somewhere that intakes yield better mpg.

With my CVT, I'm getting about 540-560kms on a tank of gas before my light comes on. That's with the new K&N typhoon intake. It added about 50 kms to a tank of gas.
About 70% of my driving is in the city.
