Hey so I just bought a 2009 Lancer so I'm kind of new to the car and the forums. With that being said what is this "Sport Mode" or "Manual Mode" I'm hearing of with CVT transmissions? Would I have paddle shifters if I had this feature? Thanks, sorry if this questions sounds stupid haha

 

yeah you would have paddle shifters.

not necessarily, some have sports mode without paddle shifters but you can use the gear shifter.... i have a lancer gts 2009, and i have been using sports mode now that the streets arent cold and wet, i actually prefer using the gear shifter for shifting, its more fun, the paddle shifters are cool but too easy and not as fun to use, but useful if your really lazy but still wanna be in sports mode...
