Yea I was running the numbers through a calculator and the lowest I got it was $450 with 4 grand down assuming I could get a RalliArt for 25g's and $14,500 for my trade in.

 

you are going to be lucky if you get 14,500

 

put it up for private sale on craigslist or other places now and you will probably get a good bit more than trade-in value. emphasize the great economy you get with the small engine size. if it sells early you can still drive your jeep until you get the ralliart; turbo + awd is great.

maybe you can find a used one soon for a good deal?

If you don't want to get raped on the trade, keep the GTS for a year or two and then trade after you have more paid on it. That way you won't have the neg equity. Also, you may be able to get a better version like a 2011 or something better.

 

I have an 08 GTS with almost 45,000kms on it. I am trading it in soon for a ralliart. Anyway, my dealership here in British Columbia came up with an offer of $20,000 for my car. Im definetly not complaining. I think the sticker price when i bought it was about 26k. That'll be a nice chunk of the price of the ralliart.

I stopped by the dealer today and they gave me a quote for $14,000 for my trade-in. Little to say I don't have the extra 5g's to put down to get payments to $425.

Dude, i want to trade in my lancer too, so i can get the highest possible trade in i just drive my other cars and just keep the lancer garage kept. i bought it back in october of last year and the car just has 4,437 miles on the odometer. But it is not that i dont like, i dont like the cvt. i remember thinking to myself the day that i got it dont get the cvt, dont get the cvt. then i was like oh **** man i got the cvt. it is not bad i just dont like it this is my first non manual car and it sucks (that its not stick).
