Trade In Value?

I currently have an 09 GTS with about 25,000 miles on it. I would love to trade it in for a RalliArt but I don't know the trade in values on our cars. They are so new that KBB doesn't have them on their site yet.

Has anyone traded an 09 in yet? If so, what did the give you on your trade in?

What part of maryland are you in??

im in white marsh.

My buddys fiance had an 09 lancer DE and she totaled it and the insurance company gave her 12 grand for it for 23000 miles.

So im guessing that a GTS you will get alot more for it.

what year ralliart you looking at the new turbo one?

I live down by Annapolis.

I'm looking at the new 09 RalliArt. Only problem is I've only paid off a little of my 09 GTS so any trade-in value lower than $16,000 wouldn't be worth it because I would have to pay too much to even out the loan.

I want to upgrade because I wan the TC-SST and the All-Wheel Drive. The turbo is a plus too

I got it for the price/features and the gas mileage. I had just graduated and my job is 45 miles away from my house and my only other option was to drive a Jeep Wrangler that gets 11 mpg.

I had no intentions of keeping it for long because I knew I would be putting a lot of miles on it. I am getting a new job in a few months up towards Baltimore and the commute is going to be drastically shorter so I won't end up putting too many miles on it.

The 09 RalliArt didn't come out for another 4 or so months after I bought my car and I needed a car.

your trade in value is gonna drop a lot..having it be an 09 and having 23k miles on it..i got a estimate on my 08 GTS with 14k miles and they were gonna give me like 15. your better off doing a private sell

I was in the same boat. I bought gts way over msrp, had it for a year and traded in for a GSR at southcoast. I owe 16k on it and they took it in for what I owe but I only had 11k miles on it though.

I bought mine from the Fitzgerald dealership in Annapolis, MD. It was an OK experience but the manager there had promised me a 5.49% interest rate and it ended up being 6.75% or something like that. It wasn't a big deal because I just put down another $500 and got the payments to come out to what they would of been at 5.49%.

I bought mine in June of 08 and at the time they didn't have any 09's so the guy I dealt with called around and found one in PA for me and went and picked it up. I ended up paying around 19,500 (I don't have the NAV system) for it before tax and all that crap. They have good no haggle prices.

I can't say anything for their service department because I've only dealt with them once for a routine oil change.

I would love to just bite the bullet but I can't afford any more than $400 a month. Right now I only pay $360 a month but $400 would be my max. I might just have to save up a few grand and put like 4g's down on it.

I think if u can break even on ur trade u could get a BASE RA for like $420 ish

I think I'm gonna go up to the dealer towards the end of the month and see what kind of deal they'll give me.

you can work something out with the dealer where they will give u what you owe on your car but dont expect to get the ralliart any less than MSRP.

id go in and try to get as much as possible, remember they do want to sell a car but also remember you can get an 09 gts with cvt s&s for 20k otd, i know i did so with a 5spd non s&s an 09 gts can be bought at near 18500 otd. go in and try to get at least 14500 for your car, im sure you might be able to get more.

remember the following rebates that are available

loyalty $500
1500 factory rebate ending at the end of april

thats 2k in rebates applied to your car so you figure they will probably give you about 2k or so less than you owe so in the end you can trade up for a ralliart but you have to pay MSRP.

it could be worse. trade in before you get more miles on the 09 gts.

good luck

you are not goin to get a ralliart for 400 a month especially if you are really upside down on your current car
