Granted yes you do have AWD over the FF of the RSX but look at which car is used for what.. If you want a all around car yeah WRX w/ the AWD is fine O/R and street, but to me it just seems that the RSX would suit me fine for street modability, (since I'm not really a rally person) an with a little suspension tweaking you can have a nice riding RSX.

He had a 99 jetta gls (new style) had 105 hp or close to that.... and cost him almost if not more than 18,000.... He had constant stupid little problems: power window failure, seat lock up, etc...... Other than that it is a VERY nice car interiors are beautiful, engine is quite as a mouse, road noise is minimal

a decked out jetta (180 hp w/ turbo, leather interior, 17" wheels etc.) is $22450. i figure a lancer w/ a turbo(and accessories), rims/wheels, new grill, spoiler, suspension upgrade, brakes (what i would like to upgrade the car with) would be over $26000. am i guessing right? but anyway, on the jetta all i'd add would be a suspension, and brakes, and would cost about $24,000 BUT it would have less hp. and i don't know too much about jettas. (i'm not exactly rich either) i think it's between those two cars. hmmmmm...

VW has had numerous problems with their braking systems. Tack on another $3500 to that total.. oohh you should get a 2000 impreza 2.5RS with a Turbo system (around 7psi), cam, ported heads, exhaust and suspension.. you wont regret the 270 -300hp and AWD with an orgasmic body style for under 29k. Check Out www.cobbtuning.com

styling, hmmmmm.... i'd probably say lancer. but it don't be havin no pimp shiz, nawtmsayin. no more ebonics. the vw has leather seats, a sound system (by the way anyone know anything about the monsoon sound system? i heard it really good), and i like the interior better. damn, it's close. and it doesn't help that you guys throw all these other sweet cars at me 300hp just gonna have to pick and never look back i suppose...

On the other hand...I don't think I'll ever own a car that has a stock stereo system for very long. Already put in Infinity Kappas and I don't think I'll ever change em out unless I manage to blow em.

monsoon sound systems are really good premium systems. Comparable to Bose and Infinity systems. External amps, better voice coils, magnets and, in most cases cones. Most are still paper but a little more durable.

-You'll never blow those speakers man. I've baught infinity speakers exclusively since I had a car to put them in. Just can't beat the performance/sound quality of Infinity speakers (was one of the main points on deciding to buy the Avenger). Even the paper cone variety don't blow.
