I did my first rallycross in my 03 Lancer and had a blast. If you are able to participate in one, you really should.

Lancer tie rods don not like to to rally, trust me.

 

I took first place for stock front wheel drive. (It helps that almost all the other cars there were in modified all wheel drive. )

It was definitely more fun than my times would lead you to believe.

 

Looks like fun. I wonder what the folks in the houses behind you in the pics think about the whole rally thing... haha

 

They actually came out to watch the event. There were a couple of fully prepped rally cars there and what seemed like an endless supply of Subaru's to watch. Aside from a terrible sunburn from working the corners after my runs, I had a great time even when I wasn't driving.
