2011+ Lancer sports mode possible?
Hey guys, I'm a new member on these forums and have been reading up and learning quite a lot on pretty much all things lancer. I recently got the 2011 Lancer SE model which does not come with the Sports/sportronic mode (+ -) on the floor shifter assembly. Reading the forums, it seems that the 08,09 and even the 10 models were pretty much plug and play with the GTS floor shifter or by cutting the original shifter and connecting the proper wiring in the back. However, I didn't find much if anything regarding the 2011+ models and this mod being compatible with it.
I talked to the technicians at the Mitsubishi dealership today and they pretty much told me that its totally impossible to do this on the 2011+ models since the TCMs are totally different and the wiring doesn't exist.
So I would really appreciate if someone could chime in regarding this issue and if its possible to get this working on the newer models. Also, what about the paddle shifters? Are they still plug and play even on the 2011 models? The dealership guys told me even the paddle shifts are impossible to implement but I take their word with a grain of salt and would like to know what the community here thinks.
Thanks for any and all the help in advance

I have read quite abit about this and i heard that the paddle shutters are plug and play and you can get into the sport mode from just putting your car into drive but when you stop it tweets back to auto so I would assume that would get annoying to anyone I personally am looking into this aswell seeing I have a 2011 lancer es myself and I would love to upgrade it if I find anything new on the matter ill deffinaly post it here...
