2003 Lancers

Does anybody know if the 2003 lancer automatics come with the sport tronic thing? Because i am trying to find a place where i can just like trade my car for a manual but i cant freakin' find a manual lancer, so i was just wondering if the 2003's atleast came with the sportronic shift thing.

Thanks.

alright thanks.

I really enjoy my lancer, but unless i can find one stick for like no extra cost to me, i think i may try and trade her in for either a ralliart or eclipse GT or GTS. (( used ))

Australia. The VR-X I'm pretty sure has it w/ the INVECS (II or III...I forget) transmission.

The webpage for mitsu says that the 2004 lancers come with the "Adaptive Shift Control" is this what im looking for or no? I mean i would much rather have a manual, but ... i think right now if it came down to it, i would take a automatic as long as it had the fake stick, lol.

nope the adaptive shift control is essentially a little level that doesnt let your car downshift when you are going uphill. all lancers have that (that are auto).

I think the canadian version had the sportstronic but i also believe it was the invecs III tranny

no sporttronic in canada.

and i thought adaptive shift control was the ecu's ability to learn how you drove your car and shift accordingly. like on mine, it shifts at higher revs because the ecu learned how i drive.

???

are you trying to trade your 02ES to the dealer for a no cost swap with an 04 manual? they only offered me 8,000 for a trade in on my 03 Oz Manual for an Evo, what kinda crap is that.
