i got mine done at a muffler shop i used, dont laugh, glass packs babby i love them the sound is so good i paid 40 for the two glass packs and 140 for the 2.25 piping i love it

haha i bet your car is amazingly loud! damn!

my car sounds kind o ricey yes - but i guess thats what you get with 2.25" piping and an completely open exhaust. I really dont mind, no one else around here drives a lancer, all ricey civics so i just kind of fit in and no one can tell the difference. I am a little embarassed but to be honest, untill it gets warm its going to sound lke that untill i can put the stock cat back in.

Well, i got the custom apexi N1 exhaust, catback, 2 1/4 inch, no resonators.. and trust me, it sounds like a forealz catback from Japan! Its legit and im real satisfied!

i have always heard 2.0 engines should have 3' inch piping

whoa! 3in for a 2.0??? that's big... i got a custom 3" for my TC 240sx only to let the turbo breath... but if you put a 3" on a 2.0 lemme know, i wanna knoe what that sounds like... from the guy at the muffler shop, he told me, LOOOUUUUDDDD!!!

I say get a ebay muffler and gut the resonator lets be honest here unless ur going turbo dont put down 500 dollars on an exhaust to get 2 more hp.

ya if you know your going turbo then go the 2.5" if you plan on not doing it then dont.

and by the way, before i put the cat back on ... it was very loud with the test pipe and yes sounded like a honda lol still kind of does but i dont really care. i like it, except for when it redlines and shifts then it makes a wierd noise but i belive its because i need no gaskets.
