Lancer ES - Plasti Dip?

Just picked up an '08 Lancer ES last week (traded in my '01 Eclipse Spyder) and I've already been looking into Plasti Dip to give it a more unique look.

Here's a picture of it at the dealership since I don't have any good ones that I took:

Anyway, I was thinking about painting the middle of the front bumper to give it an Evo look, as well as the emblems and badges.

I have never used Plasti Dip before, so I'm wondering if you guys recommend it or if it would make things look like crap.
Also hoping on doing the rims once I get the hang of it, though these rims are freaking ugly.

Thoughts? Or better ideas?

i woud do just the chrome and the front grill in my opinion, and upgrade the wheels entirely.

Plastic dip is really easy to use. It's easier to apply plastic dip than it is to apply spray paint. But it throws off some pretty potent fumes, so make sure you are in a well ventilated area. I just did the wheels on my rx-8 and they look sweet. I took the wheels off the car to spray them and used index cards to keep it from getting on the tire. A lot of people just leave the wheels on the car and spray them. The nice thing about plastic dip is you can peel it off of any surface without damaging the surface. Also, the prep work is very minimum, all you have to do is clean and dry the surface thoroughly. No sanding needs to be done. It's been on my wheels for about 2 months so far and no signs of problems. I did mine in black, I'm not a big fan of all the crazy *** colors.
