Use different plastic piece for aftermarket head unit
Hello everyone, this is my first post here so sorry if i posted this in the wrong place. Okay so I'm planning to buy an aftermarket head unit for my lancer and I've decided to get this idoing unit:
https://www.idoingstereo.com/product...gationGPS.html
Which looks like this installed:
Which i dont really like the look of, it stick out and looks ugly imo, but its the best unit i found for my budget. So my plan is to buy just the facia from this sygav unit which seems to be really popular in these forums:
https://www.sygav.com/collections/mi...oid-9-0-stereo
Which looks like this:
And somehow diy the idoing unit to the sygav units facia, and 3d print top and bottom pieces since the sygav is actually curved on the top and bottom to fill in the gaps, they're both 10.2 inch displays. Any thoughts if this is possible and if it'll fit? I feel like with a dremel and a 3d printer i can make this look half decent.
