i know an Evo owner put his hvac controls in his glovebox...i forgot his name but run a search over in the Evo show/shine you should find it. im getting ready to rip apart my console to put a TV in it...so i might be able to tell u in a few days, but i work tonite and all day tuesday....stupid 2 part time jobs....lol

just rip it all out.....hopefully it will be as simple as just like wires and you can move them over...but who knows.

Our HVAC controls are mechanical.... the cables on the back of the knobs that connect to the unit are a specific length. Moving them to another location would be rather difficult to do. Only way to do that is to convert the whole system to electronic HVAC controls which would require quite a bit of modification (motors, new HVAC control unit and fabrication to have that fit in a DIN sized opening or anywhere on the dash).

THERE IS HOPE!!!

a person with the same kind of truck i got 83-92 mazda b2200

the hvac is pushrods etc, and he was able to make his own setup whatever, and he uses a labtop computer to control the HVAC and it also holds all his mp3's that play over his car stereo along with movies etc.

look online for it somewhere, its pretty hott
