daily driver?

how many miles do you drive your lancer a week? just wondering cause i am starting to see more and more lancers out there, and every so often it is not an "econo-car" driver.

i drive mine approximately 500 miles per week.

reason this forum site is bad: it gives me something to do at work besides doing actual work

I drive about 800 miles a week and thats no joke. I don't know about you guys but I'm not to impressed with the gas mileage I get I go through half a tank before I hit 150 miles!

did you ever check your miles per gallon? this is what determines gas mileage, because the lancer has a fairly small tank (13.2 gallons) 150 miles at half a tank is probably around 30mpg (cause on E you have 2.2 gallons left, so at a half on the meter you have used 5 gallons....150/5=30). 30mpg sounds like pretty damn good gas mileage to me!

i have been tracking gas mileage in my car and it is around 27mpg, that's with a lot of city driving too.

EDIT: ok ok it's rough math, you really used 6 gallons or so....but even so that's still 25mpg

fill it up....clear the meter....drive it to close to E..and fill it up to top again...read off how many gallon u put in ur tank from the gas station meter.....take the numbers of ur miles meter....divide the gallon...then u get the perfect mpg....
i think i got about 25mpg all around include city and hwy
i drove about..200 miles a week

i have been taking readings over the past couple months. that way you can average it out cause you do different amounts of highway/city each week. i also factor in the gas station i go to to see if there is a difference in gas mileage from one company to another. i've found that the sunoco by me seems to give the best mileage. i average between 27-28 mpg.

I drive about 300-400 miles per week. BTW the best way to determine average gas mileage is to take the miles between fill-ups on gas, and devide those by the number of gallons for that fill-up. For example, I drove 268 miles since I last filled the tank, and put 9.3 gallons this time, which makes 28.8 miles per gallon average. Not bad, I suppose.

I average about 250 per week, and that is on the week I drive to work. The other weekmy fiance drives her car. The advantage of working at the same place.

I drive a minimum of 300 miles per week (that's just the work commute). Average probably around 300-400, but then again, I mostly drive the Montero on the weekends. Average mpg on my Lancer is 30.797, FWIW.
