the holes don't line up where? on the rear bushing arm or the frame? just interested to know. the rear bushing arm comes up as a different part number. if they don't line up on the frame, i guess i'd understand, but if it's the rear bushing arm, then i wouldn't know how RRM could sell a kit without selling the rear bushing arms.
i figure it should fit somehow if RRM gives the same bar as the OZ except they provide perches for the ES crowd.

mine worked
I am happy to tell you it does fit I did it on my ES production date on my es is jan 02 unles mitsu changed the location mid run (not likly) I would be willing to say the rear bar from the rallyart will work also (been under on and looked ) O the rrm is 1000 times better make shuer to get their perches the stock ones brake.

Like you said, blacklancer- pics would be awesome. Show us where the parts aren't lining up. The brackets should fit fine in the frame, the bar obviously fits the perches, and I can't imagine they'd use different rear control arms on the ES just to spite you

The frames are the same for the ES and the OZ. The ES is simply missing the perches but you can see the threads; just like trunks with no wing, you can still see the spots where the holes need to be drilled. Progress has an install page they ship with the sway bar and it shows exactly where it goes.

Wait, I was thinking about this last night- do you have the perches turned around? I think the bolts face rearward (can't remember exactly because I haven't had my stockers on for so ling). Did you try turning them around?

k got some pics.. had a lil problem. ALMOST DIED!! MITSUBISHI! HOLY CRAP IF THAT WOULDA BEEN LIKE ANOTHER INCH!! YOU WOULD OWE MY FAMILY SO MUCH MONEY!!! so im gettin under my car... and i hear this rrrrr... rrrr... so i look over and kinda roll out.. and boom!!! the whole jack breaks/bends at the base.. (picture1) broke a chunk out of my sideskirt toO!!
anyway. these are my holes in the frame. (picture2) if i line em up with the perch.. only 2 fit.. but the bar would not even come close (picture3) so if i do get one and the slot lined up.. itll work.. but the side is hanging off.. (picture 4) is it supposed to be like that.

Yes, again the bolts face the rear, as in Rhyzin's pics Why don't you have the service techs put them in for you while you're getting a new jack, sideskirt, wash 'n' wax, handjob you know, whatever you can get out of them for providing you with a part that's not only faulty but potentially life threatening.

why the bolts are in the middle and side of the perch instead of the outer ends of the perches is because during normal movement, both wheels go up and down at the same time so the bar rotates in the bushing without any stress or twisting. the perches and bushings just keep it attached to the car. when the car runs over bumpy roads and each wheel go up and down independent of each other, the bar in between the perches still just rotate withing the bushing, while the sides of the bar on the outer end of the perches twist, putting the stress onto the outsides of the perches. the twisting keeps the car from rolling. tadaaaaa.

omg
glad to hear you did not recive death by lancer. I nowwill have to do a jack in spection That was not cool Has any one else had this problem ? that would suck even more late at night in the rain . O and the pic of the sway bar perches look just like my es and my freinds oz nothing new their I have had the stock bar it is lame compaired to the progress bar . In my opinion this should be the first suspention mode (dare I say it ) before lowering the car . And the stock perches such *** rrm or eng boys are far stronger
