I want to replace my oz rally wing with an evo 8 wing. Will it be a direct fit? If not what do i need to do?

Installation

Step 1: buy a evo8 wing
Step 2: Unbolt the oz wing from under the trunk
Step 3: place evo 8 wing, trace where u want it to be with a washable marker
Step 4: Drill in new holes to fit the evo8 wing

next time, try to think harder and theres nothing wrong with experimenting before posting a thread here

i have an evo 8 wing and it looks like it is the same holes as the oz once so you don't need to drill any holes...

I was asking if i needed to drill new holes or if I could use the existing holes. InitialDracer, did you install the evo 8 tail on your oz?

And streetsleeper.......

Engine Cover

What kind of paint should I use to paint on the engine cover? It tends to get very hot when I drive, so which kind will withstand the heat and make my engine look badass?

haha...owned!

as far as the holes in the middle...you'll have to get them filled at a body shot i suppose. can't imagine it would be too much.

You don't need to drill holes on the trunk, Evo wing bolts right in, remove your OZ wing, you need to cover the hole in the trunk where center pillar of your OZ wing goes in with a rubber plug.

if you can't get to a body shop right away to fill in the holes and you want your wing on quick, just pick up some tape the same color as your car and put it on the holes til you can get to the shop. duct tape or other waterproof tape to cover, then color match tape on top to hide.

thats what i was thinking, hmm, there is that middle hold from where the center of the oz spoiler was, so that'll need filling, plus paint, plus painting the evo spoiler.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but it wasnt worth starting a new one. Doesnt someone make plugs for those holes? I saw this on a wingless SRT4 and it didnt look bad. I bet that beats getting it filled in at the body shop.
