OZ Cluster Needles

Hey guys, couldn't sleep for some reason so I did a search on this already and came up with nothng. What i'm wondering is, how would one go about removing the speedometer needle without messing up its sensitivity or throwing it off? I am getting an OZ cluster for my ES and am going to be swapping out the stock lightbulbs behind it but to properly do the LCD I need to get behind the white speedo overlay (thus, remove that needle). The cluster wasn't cheap and the last thing I want to do is ruin it.

Sorry I never got back to you. Okay, the needles just pull right out. But, sometimes they're stuck on there pretty darn good. Be careful you don't bend the shaft that they are on. Now, for the speedo needle - before you pull it off, to make sure you put it back on in the exact sameplace so your speedo isn't off, remove the little black stopper thing that the needle rests on. Just bend it to the side and it'll pop out. Once you remove that you will see the needle drop lower. Mark lightly on the gauge face where the end of the needle is resting. This will be your guide for where you should put the needle back to when you replace it. Now careful pry up the needle. And viola - you can remove the gauge face and then the light guide which is also connected to the odometer LCD. Let me know if you have any other questions.
