If you're just looking for ones for inside the car you could get some cold-cathode lights for a computer. They run about $10 - $20 a tube, just have to tap it in to the 12V

I have cold cathodes in my computer.. they are bright has hell.. The only thing is, they are so bright blue, they almost look white. Thats the only thing with cathodes is they are so bright in any color, they are almost white. I think they look good though.

i actually didnt run power all the way to the battery when i did mine. i tapped into the cig lighter behind the dash and just put a switch in off of that power. its clean (no visible wires) stealth, and any time my ignition is off, my neon is off, to save me from running it durring the day and axidently leavign it on after i get out and running the battery down......to turn in on when parked, all i have to do is be like im turning on the radio. it works out really really nice

Thats a good idea. The cig lighter already has a fuse where it all ties in to the fuse panel, plus you won't have to worry about draining the battery. Not that neons take much power anyways. I accidently left my switch on overnight and I woke up in the morning worried my battery was dead. It wasn't . Kinda scurrrred me.

I like having the ability to have the neons on without the car on. But that's not a bad idea, if that's your thing.

I'd like to put blue neon lights inside my car, as well as my engine bay and trunk and just wire it into my headlight switch. My radar detector is already plugged into my cigerette lighter.

Whatever floats your boat. I guess I'm just the kind of guy who likes to have overall control of everything, with a switch, I can't go wrong

Im wiring up mine with the use of the underdash light kit. Its a plug in play harness... im just gonna tap into it install some led's. This way they turn on when the door opens and fade away when they shut off. i will post pics and stuff when im done.
