I would like to request the write up of a how to get rid of the hood prop rod and install hood struts. I have searched the forum and did not find a thread about this topic.

Was looking for something that I could just run right down to the Autoparts store and pick up (Me hates waiting on shipping). Actually the brackets they have in that photo I have laying around all I need is to know what length struts to buy. Answers anyone?

As for removing the prop rod, you know that just pulls right out, right? Just work around the curve and it'll come right out.

Hope it doesn't take long. Honestly how long does it really take to "develop" a hood damper kit? However long it takes, it needs to be soon. I know I am one that is sick of that kick stand of a hood prop. As much as we pay for the damn car, it should come with hood dampers. Come on Tein hurry up!!

Company local to me. They have both hood and trunk kits. A couple of the local Evos have them and love 'em.
