Oxygen sensors?

I have a few questions if anyone can help.

1. Does anyone know where i can get the best price on Oxygen sensors i might need both and the dealer wants to charge me 230 for each?

2. Anyone know how i would go about getting to the one thats located under the car by the gas tank?.

3. Checkers carries the oxygen sensors and they have "Universal" oxygen sensors do you think these can be or are as good as the ones from the dealer?

Thanks for helping me out.

you dont need to buy the dealer ones, any brand will be fine. and since when is there one by the gas tank? theres one in the exhaust manifold and one in the cat converter.

one is in the header right at the top, and the second one is before your 2nd catalytic converter. that second one can be a real pain to get out.

http://www.automedicsupply.com/catal...engine=L4-2.0L check this out for prices, too.

YES IT CAN BE. I had to go buy a torch and heat it up. it was a little easier for me though because i pulled the exhaust off. its easiest to disconnected it by taking out the center consule. it runs on the passenger side. then drop the exhaust. you get a little more room, and it has to be unpluged anyways to replace it
