Question on my steering wheel audio contols
Hello everyone,
I just picked up my Blue ES lancer this weekend; whew what a sweet ride. I got just about every upgrade possible, (spoiler, tint, S&S, bluetooth etc) Here's a pic below
pic
The reason for my post is that although I've been able to pre-set all my radio stations, whenever I click the "up" or "down" buttons on my steering wheel controls instead of going thru my pre-sets it seems to just go into seek mode and finds the next available station.
I called up the general mitsubishi number and they weren't any help and the thick manual only had 1 page dedicated to the steering wheel controls (also didn't help)
If anyone knows how to get my steering wheel controls to only use the pre-set stations I would really appreciate the assistance!
Thanks in advance,
Tomas

You're right, it's not that far over to reach, but why have it in the first place?
* Won't do pre-sets on Sirrius
* Won't do pre-sets on Radio
* Won't do anything when an iPod is plugged in
Looks like it's only there for the CD?
Hey, I love my new lancer, but it seems this is a design oversight on Mitsubishi's part.
If anyone has found a way to change this please post it here!

thats me.....On sirius cd and radio...it goes through the presets for me and not "seeking" stations.
I'm pretty sure thats how it came from the factory...I don't remember changing any settings

isnt that a GTS and not an ES???? or did you basically just add all the GTS stuff exterior wise to an ES?
NVM just saw the rims......................why?
I mean by the time they add all that arent you basically at a GTS price point anyway????

I have an ES with sun/sound but no nav. When I use the steering wheel buttons to move through channels it does not use my presets. For example, if I'm on Sirius 23 it will go through 24, 25, 26, etc.
