Changing Licence Plate Bulbs

Hi guys,

I have a very quick question to ask... how do I change the light bulbs for rear the license plate? FYI, I have a 2003 Lancer.

I couldn't find anything using the search function.

Thanks a lot,
Don

There is 2 screws for each of the bulb covers so 4 total. Unscrew the covers and then you will see the bulbs.

Honestly, those screws are difficult to loosen. If you can access the rear of those bulbs housings, they pop out with a simple 90* twist...like the front turn signal bulbs or the side marker bulbs.

Correct. I could only change one. I tried twisting them but it only bent that bracket.
