SRI drop torque

I went to an installer and they said if installed a short ram intake that it would drop my low torque but increase my high end torque. Is this true? I thought it was the other way around. They also told me it would drop by maybe 1000-2000 rpms. Can anyone clear this up for me?

I drive a lancer es 06. Ty for the help

I doubt it'll be noticeable.

^Exactly, we're guttless to begin with...so taking away or adding something with little affect to hp/torque, you won't notice it. Increase in dbs though by 30%! LOL

Increases gas mileage. It's the only reason to put one on a Lancer.
