need help asap on a 04 OZ, i've never done one. but do i just pull stright out?

 

Use some pliers to hold the top side of the bolts while you unbolt the nuts on the other. Trust me! too many others ended up breaking those plastic "encasements" in the air box cuz they're just not strong enough.

 

Or because they're not using air tools
With power tools you can actualy break the bolt loose before the plastic breaks.

 

^You could possibly, plus since he isn't from up north rust shouldn't have built up there. But like myself, we don't all have access to an air compressor & air tools.

 

do you have a pic of the bolts? there are only two screws on my MAF and i think i can pull it stright out? can anyone comfirm this?

 

i'm sorry i guess this isn't that clear, on the 04+ raliart you can remove the maf and but it in the cold air intake, can you do the same thing with the oz?

 

Yes! I'm not sure why you mention a Ralliart since you've got a OZ Rally...right? There were 4 bolts on my MAF that I had to broke loose to bolt up the shield for my RMR sri intake.
