Theres no real "lightweight" camgear. It might be made with a better, stronger, lighter material. But its not called a lightweight camgear. The primarily purpose of it is to be adjustable. Hope that helps.

This is what you'd want! Since I decided against turboing the lancer, I sold this to a lancer'd guy up north. It's an adjustable "lighter-weight" cam gear... https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...2&d=1114726481

From what I remember, RPW and Fidanze both have cam gears for the 4G94. I think a cam gear from the mirage works as well. The best way to adjust it depends on what cam you have and what kind of effect you want. There is no universal answer to that question. Do a search in the lancer forum on "cam gear" and you'll find more info. I know it's out there.

That'd be the idea, yeah.

Do you actually know what you're doing? Don't just be tweaking your cam timing blindly.

Only adjust the bolts if being tuned! No reason to mess with timing w/o air & fuel adjustments at the same time.
