On these, I put a decal down before sanding & sanded everything around the decal to make a porous surface for the paint to grab on to. After I did the last spray coat, I waited till the next morning to remove the decal to be safe. Remove it from bottom to top or top to bottom very slowly. You might want to have a razor/Xacto blade ready to cut away at raised edges next to the decal, if you decide to do that.
Also, head light tinting is illegal, but not that noticeable to police, but if you get pulled over & the cop is trying to find something to get you for, you will get a ticket. Both tail & head tinting are not noticeable at night. I would suggest getting the film overlays on the front lights to be safe.

Oh, well I wouldn't think that you'd be able to remove the tint once you spray it on... unless you scrape it off, but then you'd be left w/a sanded/scratched up light. Possibly lacquer thinner would work.
