it would work but those connectors are a bad idea when exposed to the elements. Unless you live in an area with little to no humidity or rain then the wire will corroded and you will have a bigger problem on your hands. I suggest wiring in things properly (sealed)

Here's another idea you can try if you are careful enough and take your time. All the connectors on the bulbs come apart. If you look down the socket, you can usually see a pin that holds the metal contact in place. What you can do is pull back the clip on the back side of the low beam connector and for the parking light. You can then take the wires out and switch them to the parking light connector. If the metal contacts are not the same, you will have to cut the contacts and swap those also, but in the end it will still look stock. The only thing I don't know is if the wires will reach that far.

Too bad I didn't think of this before I spliced the parking light, I woulda tried it out.

wow all this work to do what can be done by swapping two wires. Why do people go to the trouble to figure this stuff out when you just simply switch park lamp (blue wire) with head light (red wire wht stripe) Done....

I guess some want to show off their electrical know how or just have too much time on their hands.

Also the connectors for the headlights and park light terminals are different, we have the head light terminals at work but the park light ones we don't have so I butt connected and heat shrinked

If you do swap those two wires, won't your parking lights be on all the time instead of the headlights?

Btw I sell a pnp harness for 35.00 shipped to eliminate the flicker.

Now why would you switch the wires from the headlight to the parking lights when the parking light circuit has enough stress on it already. There is a reason the headlights have there own fuses.

I don't exactly know which diagram you mean, but I know for a fact option #3 works. I've done it already.

Here's a picture:

Gah... tried the original as well now. i've double and tripple checked my connections, but must be doing something wrong that im not seeing. Now It does nothing with the switch in all positions. Dunno, its getting to cold again to keep going outside tonight. Ill try again tomorrow. I'll try striping everything and starting from scratch.

EDIT: I'm an Idiot My hid kit does not have a relay, it plugs directly into factory 9006 plug. I am assuming thats the problem.
