I've got factory fitted fogs with the slider/roller switch installed in the indicator/light switch stalk.

The fogs can only be switched on if some part of your headlights are switched on as well.

Anyone know how to modify this so the fogs can be switched on regardless of the state of the main headlights?

Well with the car being on or just period?
Because you can wire them to a Ignition Wire

It could be a bit messy, but there's a connector under neath the steering column that has the wires for the light stalk. You can cut the wire from there, and run a new wire from there to the relay in the relay box in the engine compartment. This way you can control when you want them off and on.

Ya just a little lol. I still need to find time to get a wire from there to my HIDs so that I don't have to leave them on all the time. Its been like a month now and I still can't find time to do it maybe in a couple of weeks. When I do get around to it, I'll post a pic with the connector, since I need to bridge off of there.
