Which Dual Din Deck??
I currently have a Panasonic dual din DVD player installed that supports an iPod cable. I really like it and the fact that it was upgradeable for Navi and Sirius was a real plus.
I found out last week that Panasonic has stopped development on ALL external parts for my deck and now I cannot upgrade it to have Navi and Sirius. This may come as a blessing as I want to get a PAC controller so I dont loose my steeringwheel mounted controls.
Now my question is what dual din DVD deck should I get.
It must be:
- iPod (prefer Video ready)
- Navi (either onboard or expandable, but I find that the expandable ones work out to more money in the end.)
- Bluetooth
- DVD if not iPod video ready
- Touch Screen
- HAS to support a PAC controller of some sort.
I was looking at the Pioneer F900 but I hear there is something up with them that makes them really slow. I was also looking at the Alpine units with the expandable HDD with the Navi but those run almost $1100.00 new
Ideas?

But I like the Kenwood DNX8120. Has "parrot" blue tooth and "garmin" nav built in, Ipod video ready and sirius ready (with cheaper parts then the pioneer to do both) and the PAC SWI-JACK works with the kenwood.
Plus you get a bigger screen. so Kenwood #1 and Pioneer #2.
I'm not a fan of the alpine over these 2.

The F900 2.0 update makes it much faster.

a lot of money? well for what you want, expect to be paying a lot if you purchase new from a trusted place like an audio shop. i would be surprised if you spend less than 1200 - 1600 dollars to get everything you listed, whether its built in or needing separate interface modules. the PAC adapter is about 100 bucks alone, and I know for kenwood, you can get the radio with built in everything as a package for 1600 bucks from a car audio shop
