Halos? has any one split the headlights

I just got a set of Halo's from ebay and just wanted to know if anyone has split the lens from the headlamp assembly. I'm still going to figure it out for my self but if some one can tell me a quick tip or two. It looks like its only held together by some screws and clips with a big gasket. I'm going to make a how to but I'm waiting for it to get a bit warmer out, f*ing canada. But i give it plenty of detail for everyone. I've tested the halos out just straight to power and they are gonna look sexy.,

Edit: Some pics of the kit itself.

I think you have to bake it at like 350 to open that thing up.

You should be able to follow any angel eye/opening of the headlight how-to. They should have the general concept.

yup, bake it, and the lens should come right off... however, be sure to keep it hot while working on it, otherwise you won't get that seal back... You don't want to mess up the seal.

I seen those a while ago on eBay and couldn't find them again once I closed the window. I can't wait for the how-to. I'm getting them once you give us some feedback.

preheat the oven to 275 then place the headlight on a cookie sheet with a damp towel on it. Bake for 5-6mins. Gently pry the housings apart.

Can you make a new seal by rebaking the head light assembly and lens or do you have to work with it warm?

from what ive learned while durin numerous searches, not even specifically for lancers but angel eye installation in general..u jus reassemble the headlight after ur doin the angel eyes, push headlight back together n bake again in the oven..then screw/clip it all up nicely, should reseal no problem, *jus make sur eu use some gloves, that **** gets hot* the big headache i had was tryin to figure out what temp for how long..it really doesnt matter if u want go for a lower temp to be safe.. lower temp = longer time to bake..some people use a cookie sheet *or not* with a damp towel as to not melt the part of the headlight that makes contact with the cookie sheet/rack

automoglow.com also has some angel eyes in various colors, u jus email or pm him, quality kit, Ector on LT has em done, they look good.

Have you found any sites with instructions on how to make your own angel eyes? Or does anybody know how?
