taking out back seat
got my new carpet, and will be getting evo seats soon, i wanted to know how hard it was to take out the back seat, i mean i was just going to start taking things apart and figure it out as i go, that is what i usually do, lol. the backs come off pretty easy, but what about the bottom section? and while we are on the topic of seats, how hard is it to put rear evo seats in an OZ?

Hey where did you get new carpet? I've been looking around for our cars and can't seem to find any. You have an 03 and mines an 04, I've never seen the inside of an 03 but I'm assuming the carpet is exactly the same. Correct me if I'm wrong.

i don't know if the carpet is any different, the carpet i got is actually from an evo, i'm hoping that it goes in with no problems, but we will wait and see, i need warm weather to work on it, not blowing snow. and i got it from another membet on here, there are lots of guys that have them for sale for around $200

hey juan, how hard was it to replace the hooks on the evo seats, i was looking at them and it seems like they are like melted into the foam of the seat, so i was hesitant to try and do anything to them, i was thinking i would take the long ones off my side pieces (i have the fold down seats). and put them on the evo ones somehow, or just get a piece of thick metal rod and bend it to work.

alright, i think that i got everything squared away for the most part, i am still waiting on the new set of hooks for the seats, but one thing that i noticed when i put the back seats in, was that there is a HUGE gap between the bottom and back portions of the seat, the seat back is all the way down on the hooks, although i might try bending the tabs more on the bottom. but nonetheless the evo style rear bottom doesn't seem to fit. am i missing something? need help!!!
