oz to evo spoiler, hole in trunk>>>

i couldnt really find this topic if we have one on the forum... but does anyone know the easiest way to fill the hole in the trunk when u put in an evo 7,8,9
wing on an oz?

if its a quick fix, that would be awesome. but some people have said its a biatch to fill.

anyone have it done before?

i just went to home depot and got a white plug made of plastic painted it yellow and plugged the hole.. only cost me few buck

most people plug it^ but I think thats a little tacky unless its just temporary until you get it professionally filled and painted

well ill go see what the estimate is at the shop, then ill look at the plugs from home depot and such.. gonna be so bad to paint match with a plug though:\

I just got a plug from Lowes and put it in with some kind of window seal glue stuff. Worked out great until I can get the hole filled.

Find a yellow evo trunk or another color and get it painted.

thats what i did, i just got a silver one. look at www.car-parts.com and type in what yur lookin for and you could prolly find one cheap in your area.

I used bondo to fill the hole..then ordered the same color paint from paintscratch.com and pained the area over after i sanded it down and got it nice and smooth..

remember to primer first, let dry completely...paint over with a few layers, then clear coat..mine came out pretty nice..a few minor imperfections- but it was only noticeable to me because i knew where to stare


it was all good until my best friend saw my trunk open and saw some mesh i used behind the bondo and pulled it out therefore breakin off the bondo and exposing the whole again!!!!!
