Body kit Q

So got a question to my Lancer brethren

Alright, how do you guys feel about mismatching body kits? I started looking for a new body kit so naturally I go to body-kit.com. I see the evo 9 body kit (http://body-kit.com/lan04ra_evo9.html) and think that it would be a nice fit for my car. But then I notice the evo 8 (http://body-kit.com/lan04evo8.html) and I like the front bumper more than I do of that of the evo 9 body kit. So that got me thinking what if I mismatched my body kit. I mean make it 100% my own. (but please try to resell me on the evo 9 front bumper I'd like to hear how you guys feel about it)

I was thinking evo 8 front bumper, with side skirts from accolade (lan04evo802.jpg 'shopped with side skirts) and then a rear bumper from accolade (lan04extreme_gt03.jpeg). I've also included shots of the evo 9 front bumper (lan04evo9type02.jpeg ) and evo 8 front (lan04evo804.jpeg).

Personally, I think it'd look sick- and I know who cares what other people think. As long as your happy with your car right? I think I'd be happy with that. But since I'm very freaking new to fixing up your car I'd like to get some input thanks!

Lots of people mix and match kits, nothing wrong with that as long as it all flows together smoothly. I like either the Evo 8 or 9 bumper honestly, they both look much better then any other body kit on the market today. I think the kit you described sounds great honestly.

I think Accolade went out of business from what I read, not sure if it's true or not. I was thinking about getting a kit from them, until I heard about that, and it can take up too 7 months before you get your parts.

I like the 9 better, if I had to get the 8s I would change the headlights just because to me they dont look right even if you get the eye lids as well

the evo 8 bumper looks better, but just so you know that you have to remove the crash beam for that bumper to fit!!

We are actually in the process of doing just that. A member here (wewocadet) dropped his car off to us so we could do just that.
