Sound System Rewiring

I searched for this topic a bit but failed to find any other threads on the matter. I may have simply misworded my search, but nontheless:

I plan to put an entire new system into my 2002 Lancer ES and I was wondering if I needed to completely rewire the speakers or if the stock wires would be okay. I will be installing an amplifier as well and am unsure if the stock wires will be able to handle the wattage running through them.

So in short, would it be best to take the time to rewire everything? Or would the stock wires be able to handle it?

Really depends on what you are installing for speakers. If you are putting some high quality separates in that need the power you should replace the wires but if it is just a lower wattage coax I would just go stock.
