Forgive the simple question here but noticed this on the mother in laws car while inspecting the object stuck under the car which turned out to be the insulation. Was wondering what part of the pipe this is if possible and general estimate to replace the part / parts if possible. Thanks in advance.

 

That looks like the back half of the exhaust (catback section) but thats just a heat shield. you can just bend it back in place and save money. Maybe put on another clamp if you need to.
