Help with rev limiter

Hey everyone im kind of new to forums and did not know how to explain. I just rebuilt the head on my 4g94 and did some minor upgrades like valve springs , gasket porting and polishing , turbo manifold , 4g93 cam , gates timing belt , absolute custom exhaust 4 inch from down pipe, and also finishing up a carbon composite intake manifold. i still cant figure out why what i think the rev limiter is hitting. I disconnected it and it revs to only 6300 rpm which i would like it to go to 7k at least. Any options i am forgetting or advice on it. Thanks

I don't know about the unplugging thing but I do know that you can adjust the rev limiter with ecuflash and if you have done all that other stuff to make it faster then it would really benefit you to reprogram it anyway to get the most out of your mods. If you do, you will def notice a difference in power and be very happy Im sure!

I don't know anyone in florida personally but your ecu is 100% tuneable too all at your fingertips. We all know how the money thing goes but if you get a chance to save up some bread all you need to buy is a tactrix cable to hook up to the DLC and the actual program ecuflash is free to download online. You would be all set up from that point to make changes to your computer. Def worth it too.

No I don't know anyone but you could always check out the for sale section on here if you haven't already. And yes tactrix is the company and open port is the model that will work for our lancers.

Most people have better luck with the tactrix 1.3u for the lancers. You can get it from evoscan with the data logging software for $160
