Question about trunk floor boad/lining

Question about trunk floor boad/lining
I just bought a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer ES. There is no carpeting in the trunk floor, just a piece of floor board that covers up the spare tire and center of trunk. My question is, are there supposed to be floor boards on the sides or is it just the one, large center board?
