Fuel Injector cleaners question

I have a 13 Lancer es and i was wondering if using
a fuel injector cleaner will harm my lancer?
What brand or product do you guys suggest?

Also I'm idling at 600 rpm, is that normal?

I've used Lucas fuel injector cleaner on my cars and motorcycles plenty of times. Never had a problem.

And last I checked, normal idle should be 500-700 iirc.

I've never tried sea foam. So can't comment on that. Seems like a quality brand though.... from what I've seen. Autozone sells both.

this morning after warm my car and i drove out my driveway and braked at the entrance and i felt a slight power lost... my ES is a CVT, i notice/felt the car shook a little and the rpm dropped slighty below 500 and came back up to 600. I feel something is wrong, its the 2nd time in 2 weeks.

No, I haven't used the cleaners yet.

I have a friend who says the problem could be from my spark plugs.
I havent changed them for 100K miles. Just found out the OEM cost
$80+ for a set of 4...

Check out Rockauto.com. You can pick up NGK iridium plugs for $15 each. So $60 for a set.

Rockauto or Partsgeek. Both legit sites with good prices. I've used both plenty of times.

guess Ill give it a go, I got the Autolite XP3924 from Oreillys as the rockauto also have listed.
It made my Lancer misfire so i wasted $25.00. I'm at 100K miles on my car. I don't know why it is hesitating on stop(not complete stop) and go. I was hopinh its because of the sparks.

Just don't use fuel injector cleaner ALL the time..this could cause premature spark plug failure. Use it every other oil change if anything.

I recommend Chevron Techron or Redline SI-1 fuel system cleaner.
