Is there anyway you could draw up a diagram of your wiring for your headlights? I'm still alittle confused.

87 High beam positive ( Spliced)
87a Low beam positive( Cut and connected)
85 High beam positive ( Spliced)
86 negative (Spliced)
30 positive going to the bulb ( Cut and connected)

Well thats all thats needed , once you have the relay in front of you , you know what exactly to do since the relay has all those numbers on it , just connect the wires i said to those numbers and its easy
BTW you need one relay on each side

One last quick question. What do you mean by spliced? I'm not big on technical terms, but does that mean tap into or something. T into?

Will do. Its on my list of getting a job, making money, and then buying lights. It may be awhile.

Hi,
Some high tech headlight conversion chat......but all I want is the correct P/N
for GE Nighthawks for my '04 OZ Lancer. The retailers list high beam (9007)
and low beam (9005) but they won't fit. I have only one double filament bulb
per side ie one bulb is both high and low beam. Does anyone know what is the correct Nighthawk P/N?
Could it be possible that part of the problem is due to the daytime running
feature on my Canadian version of the Lancer?
Thanks,
Carl

The bulb for your car is a 9007 which is used as the low and high beam
